The patient, a retired teacher Maam Virginia Padilla Roble from Mandaue City, Philipines, The elderly teacher, unfortunately, broke her left forearm. She was brought in for treatment at the Perpetual Succour Hospital, a hospital where an ex-student of hers is currently working.

After completing her treatment, Mrs. Roble was getting ready to pay but what she saw on the receipt shocked her, she saw the receipt and there was a note written on it. The note was absolutely heartwarming, it was from a student of hers from 22 years ago.Dr. Dilbert Monicit, wrote, “Dear Madam Roble, professional fee—paid 22 years ago (one of my favorite teacher!).”

The retired teacher, 64-year-old Madam Roble posted the receipt to Facebook, “I got this note from the nurses’ station.
Thank you for the early Christmas gift, Dr. Dilbert Monicit. Thank you for being there.” Madam Roble wrote. She surely felt good not only for the topnotch and free treatment she got, but knowing that a student of hers became a successful surgeon surely filled her with happiness, and also knowing that she did a good job 22 years ago enabling her student to have fond memories of her.

The efforts made by Mrs. Roble in the past surely wasn’t forgotten by her students, a job well done for her indeed.
