Sir Boy Abunda nagbukas ng Restaurant, sayang nga lang at di ito nagtagal

The famous Filipino television host, publicist talent manager and celebrity endorser. Located at Panay Avenue near Capitol Medical Center in Quezon City and also near ABS-CBN. He bought the old place where the Ozone Disco incident started and it it is now a food chain owned by the one and only abundant Sir Boy Abunda.

The place used where the tragic Ozone Disco Fire broke in Quezon having 162 people dead and the incident was acknowledged as the worst fire in the Philippine History. Also the 10 worst nightclub fires in the whole wide world. The fire broke out before midnight, most of its guests are high school and college students celebrating their year-end party or after graduation. After the tragic incident, the bodies were found piled up along leading to the fire exit last March 17, 1996, unfortunately, the exit was blocked leaving the fate of their guests. The officials reported that there was no proper fire exit installed in the establishment and the only fire exit was blocked by another building next door.

However, after the tragic event, the television host decided to build a food chain in the building. During their soft opening, the host clarified that number one, wala naman kaming kinalaman dun sa Ozone una yun.” and followed “Pangalawa, basta magpasantabi tayo sa mga spirits kasi ako I believe that we’re not alone in this world.”

The Sir boy’s Food republique lies very opposite in luxury buffets because the buffet package is affordable as low as 99 pesos only. The ambiance inside the restaurant is clean and simple interiors and surrounded by celebrities adjourn of Boy Abunda’s Showbiz. You can celebrate other events and it even has a small stage area for gigs. The venue can accommodate up to 300 guests and affordable eat you can party. There are 2 sets of buffet first is 99 and another set is for 199 pesos. The choices and number of available menus depends on the course set you choose and add 50 pesos for a bottomless iced tea with unlimited ice cream.

Sad to say the Sir boy’s Republique is official closed based on the sites and reservation. I don’t know what is the reason why it was closed but most of the guest’s reviews are mostly satisfied. It was sure affordable and satisfying.
